In sections from brown adipose tissue the antibody binds to skeletal muscle, nerves and vessels.
In aortic root sections it binds specifically to cardiomyocytes (which contain UCP2 and UCP3 but not UCP1).
This antibody seems to cross-react against something else and not to be specific for ucp-1.
