Additional Notes
Under our super-resolution microscope (STORM) Tom20 looked very spotty using this antibody. This usually happens when the labeling is not good. Also generally the fluorescence was much weaker than the case when we used other Tom20 antibody.
Abcam response
This antibody has to our knowledge not been tested in mouse before. We would appreciate the data of other customers regarding the use of ab78547 in mouse samples. Based on high alignments between the immunogen sequence and the amino acid sequence of TOMM20 in mouse, which is 100% we would expect the antibody to detect the mouse protein as well.
