Additional Notes
We previously used Iba1 as a marker for microglia, this was a robust polyclonal available from Wako. This antibody is promising however, IHC for value isn't as great. Previous staining was achieved at 1:1000-1:1500, however TMEM from abcam, though yields good staining one optimised functions best at 1:100. 1:250 is possible but images are not to publication standard. The antibody needs to be concentrated before sale. Otherwise I would recommend this marker for IHC-P. Very straightforward, no problems and yields good immunostain images.
***We did not use a conjugated primary or secondary Ab, we relied on a polymer-HRP detection system from Biogenex. Similar results were obtained with polymer-HRP from Vector as well.
