Left, Pierce PageRuler Plus pre stained marker. Right, Xenopus egg extract. Higher molecular weight bands are presumably SUMO-conjugated protein. Not clear why two (presumably SUMO) bands are seen at 15/17 kDa. (Predicted size of SUMO2A, SUMO2B and SUMO3 are all 10.7 - 10.8 kDa).
