Additional Notes
A very minimal amount of SSEA1 protein was IPed from the cell lysate, but I have tried other SSEA1 antibodies, including the one I used for western blotting and none of those are very good at IPing a lot of SSEA1 protein either.
Abcam response
I noticed that you use protein A agarose to pulldown ab16285. ab16285 is an IgM antibody and protein A only has weak affinity for IgM. I would recommend using an anti-IgM antibody bound to protein A beads as your capture reagent. In theory this reagent will pull down much more IgM.
