Additional Notes
I am not familiar with the immunohistochemical visualisation of this protein in any tissue.
However, given that Abcam's datasheet shows positivity in the cytoplasm of human kidney tubules, the positivity in mouse tubules should also be specific?
Submitted image shows a moderate/bland tubular positivity.
Also in parietal cells of Bowman's capsule ( black arrowhead) and in what appears to be a descending/ascending loop of Henle ( red arrowhead).
There also appears to be a moderate nuclear positivity.
Abcam response
Thank you for your valuable feedback. There appears to be some specificity with ab73400 in the mouse kidney under these experimental conditions. We welcome further customer feedback, please contact scientific support for more information.
The reviewer received a reward from Abcam’s Loyalty Program in thanks for submitting this Abreview and for helping the scientific community make better-informed decisions.
