Submitted image of T/S spinal cord, at the point of a dorsal root entry.
The dorsal root is positive, becoming negative immediately it enters the spinal cord ( black arrows).
However, the intensity of peripheral myelin positivity is quite variable: red arrows indicate strongly positive myelin.
There is also a diffuse, moderate positivity within the grey matter of the cord red asterisks)
Rbcs are also moderately positive ( not shown).
Further dilution of the primary Ab, when using a more sensitive detection system, may well improve the signal:noise staining of this Ab.
