This antibody gives variable positivity across a section, whatever the tissue ( human), in my hands.
This indicates that the predominant epitopes involved are "fixation-sensitive" and/or are of poor affinity/avidity?
eg: due to immersion fixation, peripheral positivity is stronger.
One would need to perfuse-fix a human being to prove/disprove this, of course......
Sure, the submitted image shows strong positivity in some nuclei deep within the tonsil however, imho there are far less strong positive nuclei than when using other anti Ki67 antibodies ( eg: ab92742).
Also, for a rabbit polyclonal, the dilution factor is poor
