I cannot detect any signal in my tissue using 1:500, 1:1000 or 1:250 dilutions (both with or without antigen unmasking using sodium citrate).
It is possible that this antibody is better suited for Western blotting.
However, I have only tried the antibody on lumbar rat spinal cord, so cannot make any definite statement as to whether it would work in the brain or other tissue types.

Thank you for your feedback. We have not tested this antibody for its use in staining frozen tissue sections (IHC-Fr) or in rat. It is difficult to determine if the species and/or application resulted in negative staining.
