Additional data
Additional Notes
The tissues were fixed (animals perfused fixed) with 4% PFA and later postfixed overnight in the same fixative. They were cryoprotected in 30% sucrose and cut using a cryostat.
The range of dilution used was 1:100 to 1:3000 (1:100, 1:300, 1:1000 and 1:3000), and no staining was observed for all dilutions.
It seems that this antibody didn't work on mouse brain sections.
Abcam response
Thank you for your valuable feedback. ab81230 has not been previously tested in immunohistochemistry of PFA perfusion frozen sections (IHC-FoFr). Your data suggests that ab81230 may not be suitable for detecting pGlycogen synthase in mouse sections using IHC-FoFr under these experimental conditions. We hope this information is useful to our customers.
The reviewer received a reward from Abcam’s Loyalty Program in thanks for submitting this Abreview and for helping the scientific community make better-informed decisions.
