Additional Notes
I used this antibody using the 'Free floating' technique. Using the antibody 1:1000 diluted, with a secondary antibody (Alexa Fluor 488 1:1000 diluted), I obtained a pretty cytoplasmic staining. As shown on the pictures uploaded, the antibody produced a puntuated staining in the neuronal soma and processes. Most neurons are moderately stained, whereas in some other (such as ventral aspect of hypothalamus, probably the supraoptic nucleus (SON), picture on the left and center), the staining is much brighter. Picture on the right : picture taken at high power magnification at the level of the cerebral cortex. The pictures on the left and center were taken at the level of the third ventricule (3V) and the SON.
