Abcam response
We have used this antibody successfully in IHC-P using human tissue sections, as seen from image the antibody was able to stain the target. Human tissue sections could be used a s positive control. We yet haven't tested this ab with rat samples so we are unsure how this antibody will perform. In IHC-P the antigen retrieval sometime needs optimizations so we can suggest trying a range of time line e.g. 3 minutes, 5 or 10 minutes with microwave; the time range will exclude the possibility antibody fail due to unmasked or over heat exposed epitopes.
