The test was performed testing anti-COLIII antibody ab23445 in IHC-Fr on pig skin frozen sections.
Pig skin cryosections, 10um thick, were air-dried for 30min at RT then fixed in acetone for 10min at RT.
IHC was performed using the Histostain Plus 3rd generation kit, Invotrogen), according to the manufacturer, with DAB used as a chromogen. No counterstaining was performed.
Anti-Collagen III ab23445 stained positively the collagen fibres in normal dermis, and showed a stronger deposition in the papillary dermis in healing skin after wounding, as expected.
