The yeast lysate produced a band running at ~19Kda, which is slightly smaller in size than the expected band of 21Kda (seen for human and mouse lysates). This discrepancy could be due to differences in lysate preparation (the yeast lysates were prepared by bead beating in SDS buffer) or by differences in post-translational modifications.
