Abcam response
Thank you for testing this antibody in immunohistochemistry which is an untested application. CD3 is a membrane-bound protein and some surface proteins are very sensitive to acetone fixation. We would suggest testing other fixatives as well such as ice-cold methanol or PFA. We would welcome more feedback from customers to make the final conclusion regarding its applicability for IHC. Thank you for your time and effort!
