Additional data
Additional Notes
- This antibody was used as the detection antibody in a sandwich ELISA. A non-Abcam goat polyclonal anti-alpha 2-antiplasmin antibody was used in the capture step.
- The brain lysate was serially diluted during optimisation to discover the optimal concentration to use.
- The dilution of 1/500 was required to give reproducible results, especially in the samples in which alpha-2antiplasmin levels were low.
- Positive control: Purified human full-length alpha 2-antiplasmin
- Negative controls: 3 were included in which either the capture antibody, detection antibody or brain lysate was omitted.
